Terry Harvey is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer and Information Sciences (CISC) at University of Delaware. CISC currently has about 22 full-time faculty, two of whom are Continuing Track (Terry included) and the rest Tenure Track. We currently have 300 undergraduate majors. Our major is currently restricted; numbers of majors and faculty are likely to rise soon.
Terry's primary focus is teaching courses in the first two years of the sequence. Two courses Terry teaches are the sophomore level Software Engineering I, which focuses on collaboration in teams, presentations, and a largish project for a real client; and Field Experience, which sends undergrads into the field to assist local G5-12 teachers in their classrooms with CS content (Partner4CS, NSF-funded).
