I am Director of Open Knowledge in the Innovation and Technology Policy Lab and Lecturing Fellow in the Thompson Writing Program at Duke University. I am passionate about integrating open source and entrepreneurial concepts into formal education structures to design collaborative, student-centered, empowering instances of 21st century teaching and learning. My courses, such as Law in the Age of Twitter, Ethics of Open Innovation, and Hacking Knowledge, focus on the intersection of networked form, open knowledge, and participatory democracy.
