This document outlines a one day workshop held as a pre-conference event at ACM SIGCSE 2013. The day consists of two primary activities:
- A development sprint for POSSE2
- An exploration of common interests between foss2serve and the ICTD program at the University of Colorado, Boulder
Goals for this Workshop
Sprint:
- Review the POSSE2 structure and content
- Review and revise individual POSSE2 learning activities
- Identify and outline additional POSSE2 learning activities
ICTD:
- Discuss goals and activities of the ICTD program and foss2serve
- Brainstorm on collaboration opportunities

- "POSSE2" is an informal name for a faculty workshop being created to address the learning needs of instructors who would like to have their students participate in HFOSS projects, but need to get themselves up to speed first. The workshop draws on ideas first tried in the Red Hat, Inc. POSSE program.
