Chi Zhang

Dr. Chi Zhang is an Associate Professor of Information Technology and Interim Chair of the Department of Software Engineering and Game Development [1] in the College of Computing and Software Engineering (CCSE) [2] at Kennesaw State University [3]. The SWEGD Department has over 700 students and offers three degree programs - BS in Software Engineering, MS in Software Engineering, and BS in Game Design and Development, as well as minor in Software Engineering and Computer Game Development.

Dr. Zhang's scholarly interests span information technology education, and health information technology, specifically open-source Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, mobile health, and health data analytics. Dr. Zhang has been a Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS) [4] since 2013.

Prior to joining Kennesaw State University, Dr. Zhang spent more than eight years teaching at the College of Information Science & Technology [5] at the University of Nebraska Omaha [6].

In her spare time, Dr. Zhang enjoys cooking, gardening, reading, jazz and light classical, and yoga.

About the HFOSS projects

I want to learn more about the OpenMRS project. I am reading "OpenMRS Developers' Guide" now and will set up the system to explore the project soon.
