Jim Kiper is Professor and Chair in the Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering at Miami University in Oxford OH.  He is currently finishing his 28-th year in this department.  His research interests are generally in the area of software engineering, and more specifically in design rationale, risk assessment, and testing. He is currently involved in an NSF funded project to investigate the use of gamification in teaching of software testing.
